African Savanna
Grant's Zebra Equus burchellii boehmi
Zebras are a species similar to donkeys and got a physique more like donkeys than horses. Their ears, mane, tail and cry are very similar to those of donkeys.
They form harems and generally move around in groups, but because they are timid and aggressive, if they are attacked by an enemy such as a lion, the whole group will chase them away.
They prefer to eat undergrowth rather than trees and branches growing higher up. The black and white stripes are said to make it difficult for predators to identify individuals they are hunting, but the reason for this is unclear.
