Bear House
Malayan Sun Bear Helarctos malayanus
Being the smallest in the bear family, this species lives in tropical and subtropical regions. It is skillful at climbing trees, and during the day it often sleeps on platforms it builds in the trees. They use their sharp claws to break down tree trunks and termite mounds and use their long, skillful tongue to eat the insects inside.
