Hooded Crane Grus monacha

Hooded cranes are small, standing around 100 cm tall. Their breeding grounds extend from the south part of Eastern Siberia to northeast China, and more than 90 percent of the world’s population winter here in Japan at Izumi, Kagoshima Prefecture.
