Common Eland Taurotragus oryx

This is the largest relative of the antelope, with horns extending at their longest to 1m. Both males and females have horns, but the males' horns are short and thick, while the females' horns are thin and long hey form groups of 20 to 30 comprised of females and children, and during the breeding season, they join with males to form herds of several hundred individuals. Due to their strong legs, they can leap over walls of about 2 meters high.
A distinctive feature is the skin flap called a "dewlap" that hangs down around their neck.
