Japanese Red Fox Vulpes vulpes japonica
The Japanese Red Fox is a subspecies of the red fox native to Japan, found on Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu.
It has a body length of about 70 cm and weighs approximately 4–7 kg. Its fur is reddish-brown, and the tip of its tail is white, which is a distinctive feature.
This fox is crepuscular, meaning it is mainly active at dawn and dusk when it searches for food.
It is omnivorous, feeding on small rodents, insects, fruits, and other available foods.
